Barrister Sani Hussaini Garun Gabbas
Born in 1963, Barrister Sani Hussaini Garun Gabbas was called to the Bar in 1989 after his one year study at the Nigeria Law School, Lagos following his attainment of a Bachelor of Law Degree from the Ahmadu Bello University.
Sworn in as commissioner of Justice, Barrister Sani Hussaini Garun Gabbas began his working career as counsel in the chamber of Ibrahim M. Boyi & CO in 1989 and later founded the Law Chamber of S.H Garun Gabbas & CO in late 1990 and has been its principal solicitor. He was a two term Jigawa state branch Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association and currently the Secretary of Arewa Lawyers Forum.
Barrister Sani Hussaini Garun Gabbas served as member of state Local Government Appeal Tribunal in 1996 and Special Assistant the Chairman of the National Committee on Hajj between 1999 and 2000. He served between 2003 and 2004 as Special Adviser to the state Governor and Commissioner for Land Administration.
He is married with children.
